OBAMA JUST DOESN’T UNDERSTAND: He says one of the first things he’ll do as president is to “instruct the Chief Joints of Staff” (that’s how he said it–I heard him) to “end the war in Iraq.” But they can’t do that. They’re only advisers to the president–not part of the command structure. Maybe Obama should learn how this government works before making promises he can’t keep–not that he cares. . . . THEY JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND: Why do China and India subsidize oil? Because they know oil is essential to economic growth. Something liberals apparently don’t know. . . . “REVEREND” JESSE JACKSON: Why do they continue to refer to “race-baiter,” scam artist, and extortionist Jesse Jackson with respect, calling him “Reverend” Jackson? The last I heard, he is a “self-proclaimed” reverend, as are most black activists. . . . IS OBAMA A RACIST? Why then, does he consistently refuse to “distance himself” from “Rev.” Wright’s racist rants? He talks all around the subject and tries to convince people he and his wife don’t think the same way, but so far, he has not condemned this “reverend” directly. . . . KENNEDY A “NICE GUY”: Ann Coulter says Ted Kennedy is one of two “nice guys” in the Senate. He’ll even go so far as to offer to drive you home after a party. Of course, you might die as he swims away, but never mind that. . . . KNEE-JERK REACTIONS: I’ve been getting comments every time I mention Jesse Helms from a guy who has been “conditioned” to think Jesse Helms is a racist, bigot, misogynist, homophobe, all of the liberal-invented labels that they applied to him.
