Talk About Conceit!

TALK ABOUT CONCEIT! Obama chuckled about McCain’s latest campaign ad, saying, “All he talks about is me.” Just who else should McCain talk about”? Who else is he running against? Should he, maybe, talk about Wendell Wilkie, or some other has-been, such as Bill Clinton or Jimmy Carter? . . . TIME TO TAX THE POOR: Who is it “dragging” this country down? The poor! We have “the richest poor” in the world. They contribute nothing to this country. They pay no taxes. They are “net tax receivers,” most of whom have three television sets in their houses, and most of whom OWN their homes. “The poor” in some other countries look upon our “poor”: as being RICH. Rush Limbaugh suggested it as a joke, but he’s right. Unfortunately, they’re too good at convincing people they’re “needy” and most of their money comes from taxpayers, anyway. . . . IT’LL TAKE TOO LONG! The liberals continue to say that, since it will take ten years or more to show any benefit from domestic drilling, we shouldn’t even try. By that reasoning, their “flights of fancy” involving “wind power” and “sun power” would take longer than THAT. So why bother? TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH: Liberals constantly call Bush’s tax cuts for EVERYBODY “tax cuts for the rich” because the rich also benefited from them. Fortunately, “tax cuts for the rich” mean more jobs and higher wages for ALL. . . . PUT AIR IN YOUR TIRES: And that will eliminate our dependence on foreign oil and the need to drill domestically. That’s Obama’s opinion. What a dunce! And this guy wants to be president? . . . RUNNING AGAINST BUSH: Democrats are pushing hard to put McCain and Bush together in people’s minds. They’re pushing the idea that a vote for McCain is a vote for a Bush “third term,” as if that was a bad thing. They should be careful what they wish for. It might come back to bite them in their posterior region.6
