It “Doesn’t Compute”

IT “DOESN’T COMPUTE”: If we are, as a country, so “poor” as the liberals tell us we are, why do we have such a “fat problem?” Why are so many “poor people” overweight? . . . DEMOCRATS HATE TRUTH: The New York Times calls the current “uptick” in the economy, “tepid.” Seems like they just can’t say something good about the economy unless it is under a Democrat president. . . . A NEW DEPRESSION? The London Independent thinks we are “entering a new depression,” and said so in a recent issue and used a picture that appeared to be a “soup line,” but was, actually people who already had coats, waiting in line to get another free coat from a private charity. I guess this is what they think, but someone ought to “clue them in” to the truth. . . . FULL OF IT: Senator Obama went to the Indian reservation and spent an hour telling them of all the things he wanted to do for his “red friends” (most of which would cost billions and would never come to pass). They gave him a plaque naming him “Walking Eagle.” That’s the name they give to an eagle so full of crap he can no longer fly. But that’s okay. That plaque meant nothing to him, either. (Thanks to Errol Phillips) . . . PRESS BIAS: You wouldn’t want a better case of press bias than the one created in how they covered the sex scandals of a former Democrat presidential candidate (John Edwards) and the current REPUBLICAN candidate (John McCain). You have to search mightily to find news about the Edwards “scandal,” but there are stories about McCain all over the media. I don’t know if either are true, but you couldn’t do anything to better illustrate press bias. . . . PELOSI AND FRIENDS GO HOME: In spite of the fact that the rest of the country is suffering from the liberal (Democrat)-created “fuel crunch,” Pelosi and friends went home for a five-week paid vacation, spending a lot of taxpayer money to make a huge “energy footprint” in the process.
