FANTASY: “I sometimes have a fantasy of staking out some political [sic] visible spot, holding a sign that says nothing more than ‘poverty stares back,’ and sticking to that spot until I starve to death. That would be an appropriate way to mark my life experience, and it would have some public meaning.” This statement, found on the ultra-liberal blog, “DailyKos.com,” further shows my inclination to let liberals prove themselves stupid by just letting them talk is a sound thing to do. Does he really believe him starving to death holding a sign will give his opinion weight or any kind of “public meaning?” . . . NO POINT: One reader thinks he/she knows it all, so there’s no point in continuing the discussion about Bette Milder”s, unnecessary reference to George Bush’s supposed “drug use” (Something Obama has also admitted to). This reader completely missed the point of the post, but won’t admit it. Also, he/she likes to insult people he/she disagrees with and accuse them of “labeling” people. This sounds just like a liberal. (So I “labeled her/him. So what? That’s the best way to put such people in the proper niches) “He/she doesn’t like people being called “conservative” or “liberal,” but what would he/she find better to use? Frankly, going by “the person” rather than “the party” doesn’t work because so far, I’ve never seen a Democrat I’d vote for. . . . CAN’T FIGURE IT OUT: I’m still trying to get the hang of how to answer comments on this platform (They make it more complicated here. I have no problem on my other platforms) so if Mike Harmon wants to contact me direct, send me an e-mail at raythomas101 at yahoo.com. . . . “TAXING THE RICH”: Why anybody would “buy” the idea that “taxing the rich” rather than the rest of us is a good idea, is beyond me. “The rich” are the people who are FUNDING all the things that make jobs and profits for the rest of us. To burden them with more and more taxes CRIPPLES their ability to invest in projects that make jobs for everybody and profits (not a “dirty word”) for all of us. . . . LEAVING IT OUT: McCain says he agrees with Obama that properly inflated tires are a good thing, but that won’t equal energy independence. But when reporting it, the liberal media left that last part out, emphasizing McCain’s “agreement” with Obama. How’s THAT for “slanting the news?” . . . “HELPING THE HOMELESS”: Instead of giving them REAL help, they give them grocery carts so they can carry their meager possessions around from place to place.
