A “Culture of Corruption”
August 19, 2008 | | Leave a Comment
A “CULTURE OF CORRUPTION”: That seems to be the “talking points” phrase that’s being used, as usual, not based on fact, but on the imaginations of liberals. . . . PELOSI REALLY GUILTY: Rep. Nancy Pelosi, who is quick to condemn Tom DeLay after his “indictment” on spurious “charges,” is no stranger to such charges, having been CONVICTED of campaign finance hanky-panky and FINED $21,000. But she’s still in office, since the corrupt Democrats don’t require even CONVICTED felon office-holders to “step down.” . . . UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAW: When fiercely political “firebrand” prosecutor Ronnie Earle indicted Tom DeLay for using corporate contributions to promote changes in the law in Texas HE broke the law. It is unconstitutional to prohibit corporations from contributing to the political process, under the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. . . . . . . INDICTING A HAM SANDWICH: Someone once said a prosecutor can “indict a ham sandwich” if he wants to. Looks like Tom DeLay is Ronnie Earl’s ham sandwich today. . . . DIFFERENT DAY, DIFFERENT STORY: In a story published in the “China Daily,” they referred to He Kexin, their Olympic participant as being “14-year-old.” Then in an updated story later, she became 16-YEARS-OLD. I think that says it all. . . . MISPLACED COCKINESS: John Zogby, of “Zogby Poll” fame, says, “I’ve noticed a ‘cockiness’ in the Democrats since they got a majority in congress, but I think it is a misplaced cockiness.” Especially since their “Messia,” Barack Obama, isn’t leading by the “landslide” advantage they expected. He’s just “hanging on by his fingernails.” . . .
