Is the “Drug War” working?
September 13, 2008 | | Leave a Comment
IS THE “DRUG WAR” WORKING? In no way. All it’s doing is keeping the price of drugs high to ensure “big profits” for the drug runners and pushers. Selling drugs in drug stores at reasonable prices would ruin that and force many drug dealers and pushers into other avenues of crime. Someone once described “insanity” as “doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.” That describes this “insane drug war.” We need to legalize USE of drugs to let the cops go after the PUSHERS and IMPORTERS. while taking the PROFIT out of it. . . . UDALL SAYS, “WE CAN’T DRILL OUR WAY OUT OF OUR OIL PROBLEM:” What an ignorant load THAT is! How did we GET the oil that has been keeping the world moving in the past? We DRILLED for it. So it follows that we CAN “drill our way out of our oil problems!” I get so tired of hearing such ignorance spouted as truth from ignorant people who don’t know any better, but who think they know more than WE do. . . . WIND, SUN, AND OTHER SOURCES: Those may well BECOME the “answer” to America’s “oil problems IN THE FUTURE. But oil is the answer NOW, if deluded environmental extremists and the Democrats they control will just allow us to drill in our own country. So why do they want to ABANDON what’s working NOW? . . . EVEN JOE BIDEN AGREES! He has said so in public. He thinks Sarah Palin is not only qualified to be vice-president, she’s qualified to be PRESIDENT! “She might have even been a better choice than ME!” wait until Obama hears THAT! . . . WHAT ABOUT THE MAN’S RIGHTS? In talking about abortion, people always talk about the “woman’s right” in the situation. But they NEVER talk about the MAN’S right. If a WOMAN wants to kill a man’s progeny, she can, even if the man objects, He has NO RIGHTS when it comes to saving his baby’s life from a mother who wants to kill it. . . . CALL IT “HIGH NOON”: In that movie, the sheriff, who was scheduled to leave, stayed to confront some criminals who wanted to take over the town because “somebody had to. At the end, while facing the remaining outlaws and sure to die because nobody in the town would support him, a gun-toting WOMAN came out of the crowd and blew one of the outlaws away. If Gary Copper’s part had been played by John McCain and the woman’s by Sarah Palin, it would be believable.
