Socialism ALWAYS Fails

SOCIALISM ALWAYS FAILS: William Bradford, first governor in the colonies, wrote in his “diary” that the first year in America was “socialist,” (”He didn’t use that word because he didn’t know it. He just knew it didn’t work.) in that they assigned each person a plot of land and put what they produced in a “common” pool, from which everybody could partake. That was the reason why they almost starved that first year. What that system produced was a lot of “slackers” who wanted to live at the expense of others. So he changed things. They still had their plot, but thereafter, everything they produced was their property. The next year was one of amazing prosperity, as everybody wanted to produce more than the others so they could profit by selling it to others. They had a “feast” and invited the Indians, not to “thank them” for teaching them how to grow corn, but as guests at their “celebration of prosperity.” Liberals have been twisting things about that ever since to make it look like they couldn’t have survived without them. . . . GOP IS WEAK: It amazes me how McCain just will not “go after” Obama, using his KNOWN negatives. They talk about him wanting to raise taxes, but they just will not mention the Citizen Reinvestment Act of 1977 (CRA) and its effect on the economy (bad), when this could win the election easily for them. Republicans just aren’t used to “attacking” Democrats on REAL issues. Which is why the “Contract With America” failed. Newt Gingrich gave us a chance, but the Republicans muffed it. . . . WOULD YOU LIKE TO BECOME RICH? I would. But I would not like to become a “target” of liberals and Democrats, as I would if I EARNED my “riches,” as Bill Gates and others have. People like Teddy Kennedy, who INHERITED $750 million from his family (and has “frittered away” half of it), have no fear from liberal “rich-haters” because he didn’t “earn” a penny of it. They think making rich people poor will help poor people in some way. Logically, that’s impossible. All that will do is take away money “the rich” use to pay for projects that make more jobs and profits for ALL of us. If “the rich” disappeared today, we’d perish within a short time because we NEED them to profit, so WE can. . . . HOW DID WE BECOME THE RICHEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD? Not through collectivism, socialism, or any other kind of “ism” that takes from those who EARN their way and GIVES to those who don’t. It was CAPITALISM that allowed us to outstrip countries that have been around for thousands of years in less that 300 years. But collectivists (socialists) are still pushing hard to get us to approve their efforts to create a socialist government in this country. Mostly because of the POWER they expect to have if it happens. Don’t allow it! . . . JUMPING THE GUN: The New Mexico Sun-News has already published an issue with the headline, “Obama Wins!” They want to be the first with that headline, and I guess publishing it whether or not it happens will give them that honor. Right up there with that ignorant editor who published the headline, “Dewey Wins!” I won a bet with my dad on that one. . . . WRITER’S BLOCK: That’s a problem I don’t have. Maybe that’s why I’ve got three books completed in addition to “What’s WRONG in America” and numberless entries for my blogs. Maybe that’s why I have so many blogs. I can’t seem to stop writing long enough to post anything sometimes. When my time comes, there’ll no doubt be a file containing 60 or so posts waiting. . . . OBAMA IS NOT “PRO-GUN”: If Obama wins, you’d better get rid of your guns and learn how to defend yourself against criminals with their ILLEGAL guns because an Obama administration will be an ongoing war against legal guns. What makes them think criminals, who don’t obey laws, will obey one that says they can’t be armed, is beyond me. All “gun laws” do is create more defenseless victims for criminals. . . . PRESS CENSORSHIP: A recent “Investor’s Business Daily” poll showed McCain is now within THREE POINTS of Obama, which is “statistically a dead-heat.” I’ve heard about all the liberal rigged polls that have Obama in “double figures” ahead, but this is the only place I’ve heard about this. (News Max) . . . VOTING WITH BUSH: Democrats have made a “big thing” of McCain “voting with Bush 95% of the time” without telling us WHAT he voted with Bush on. McCain is a Republican. So is Bush. So what’s wrong with him voting with Bush a lot of the time? I have my own problems with Bush, but not in the overall. . . . OBAMA ATTACKING BARBARA WEST’S HUSBAND: Obama didn’t like West’s “hard questions” in an interview with Joe Biden so he “banned” her from any further interviews and “went after” her husband. They’re making a big thing about him being a “Republican strategist,” completely ignoring their own connections with DEMOCRAT strategists. . . . BANNING ANOTHER TV ANCHOR: Now they’re mad at yet ANOTHER TV anchor for asking Biden a “tough question.” They’re just not used to that. Angela Russell in Philadelphia will soon find herself and her family having an “anal exam by her own “friends” in the press, as did Barbara West. With such friends. who need enemies? . . . TWISTING THE MEANING: The ads about Colorado’s “Right-to-Work” Amendment, #47, regularly lie about what it is, saying it will make it harder to do business in Colorado (only for unions). What it does is simple: it stops unions from being able to DEMAND PAYMENT, even from those who refuse to join their union as a condition of employment. It retains the FREEDOM to make their own decisions on whether or not to join the union for workers, rather than FORCE them to either join, or pay anyway. . . . NOT RELEASING MEDICAL RECORDS: Now the Democrats are going after Palin for “not releasing her medical records.” As if she was “hiding something.” I don’t remember anyone ASKING for her medical records. I’m not releasing mine, either; and she’s in much better shape than I am. If that’s all they’ve got, they’re in big trouble.
