Obama Getting Desperate

OBAMA GETTING DESPERATE: Maybe he knows something the liberals don’t want us to know, at all costs; he’s in danger of losing. So he’s spending millions of the dollars he has collected from his “money-men” (You don’t collect $150 million in ONE MONTH from small donors, as he said he did. I don’t believe it for a minute.) to run a 30 minute “lie-fest” on television, hoping that will make his numbers (in REAL polls) better. I hope I’m out driving somewhere when it’s on so I don’t have so suffer through even a few seconds of it. As it is, I hit the “mute” button whenever his face appears on my television. . . . WHERE’S HE GOING TO GET IT? Obama has already committed himself to spend a TRILLION DOLLARS, right out of the box, on give-away programs if he is elected. Where’s he going to get it? By raising every tax you pay (if you’re EARNING your own way), and creating new ones. Do you want that? Don’t believe that crap about raising taxes only on “the rich.” Even if that would get enough money, he’d kill the economy and “kill the golden goose” that keeps us all employed. . . . “INTERESTING”: That’s what the news media (including Fox) calls this election. As if the results would mean nothing to anybody. They also call it “exciting.” But it is neither. It is SCARY. If Obama gets elected, it will be “all over” for America because he will take us all the way to collectivism (socialism) if he can. And if the Democrats get a “filibuster-proof majority,” he will be able to do whatever he wants to do with us, including getting rid of ALL legal guns while CRIMINALS will keep theirs. If that happens, I will become a criminal because I will not go unarmed. . . . WE NEED MORE OF THIS: In Florida, a man robbed a restaurant and left. One 71-year-old man took his licensed gun (it’s easy to get a gun license in Florida) and fired a few shots in the criminal’s direction, no doubt causing him to leave a “brown trail” behind. Too bad the guy wasn’t a better shot. . . . TAKING CREDIT: Liberals are good at taking credit for the work of others. A letter to the editor of Wall Street Journal says, “Robert Inlow writes that “Liberals have been responsible for gaining women equal rights” (Letters, October 24). To make such a claim is akin to crediting the diplomats who negotiate an enemy-country’s military surrender for doing all the hard work that won the war. Capitalism’s ethos of freedom of contract–and its creation of inexpensive washing machines, vacuum cleaners, disinfectants, and other household appliances and products–have done far more to promote women’s rights than has any ‘liberal’ crusader or politician.” (Donald Boudreaux) And, surprise, surprise, those people who did it are all “capitalists,” not liberals. . . . IT DIDN’T WORK: The government has tried many times to “eliminate poverty” with all kinds of “programs” that didn’t work. Like FDR’s poverty programs, Lyndon Johnson’s “Great Society,” and all the other “poverty programs” that were touted as “eliminating poverty. But none of them have worked. We have just as many (or more) people “in poverty” as ever, according to the liberals, who want to start even more “programs” to eliminate poverty by taxing “the rich” more and using the money as “giveaways” to the leeches (moochers) of society. “Fighting Poverty is a money-making scam for liberals, and a way to more power.
