“Unfinished Promise”

“UNFINISHED PROMISE”: Rush Limbaugh says, “The Drive-Bys [media -RT] are in love with Camelot. They’re in love with an unfinished promise. That’s what they see in Obama and they’re going to love Obama for as long as he’s around.” And when he “screws up big,” don’t count on them to call it to our attention. They’ve got their “blinders” firmly on.  . . .  REAGANISM IS NOT DEAD: “The polls show that Reaganism is not dead. The Democrats have stolen it. The Democrats stole the tax cut issue. Is that incompetence on our side or what? To lose the tax cut argument to a socialist!” Don’t hold your breath until Obama’s troops lower your taxes significantly, especially without “strings attached.” Targeted tax cuts are how they consolidate their power.  . . .  THE OBAMA RECESSION: The government destroyed the auto industry with excessive environmental and other regulations, and with the help of the auto unions who are helping to price them out of the world market with excessively high wages (like $24 an hour for floor sweepers), then finished them off with the law that forced lenders to make loans that they KNEW could never be repaid, coupled with destroying the semi-government agencies that bought up those bad loans until just before the election when they “pulled the plug” and blamed it all on the Republicans. It worked. Obama got elected and they are in the process of “nationalizing” the auto industry while “bankrupting” the coal industry.  . . .  THE “NEVER-ENDING BAILOUT”: That’s what it’s going to be under Obama, even though Bush started it with his $750 billion bailout. The Democrats liked it and have “run with it.” Now they’re going to bail out the auto industry, the insurance industry, and the credit card industry while “bankrupting” the coal industry (I heard Obama say that’s one of his goals). Never mind that without coal, we’re in “deep doo-doo.”  . . .  TRACED RIGHT BACK TO DEMOCRATS: Rush Limbaugh says, “Every bit of this financial crisis, the bailout, every damn bit of it, can be traced directly back to the Democrat Party.” And he’s absolutely right, starting with the “Community Reinvestment Act of 1977,” a law forcing lenders to make loans that could never be repaid (passed by a Democrat-controlled Congress and signed into law by a Democrat president), with the promise that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac would buy them up so they wouldn’t lose. Then when they “pulled the plug,” the economic crunch was eminently predictable.  . . .  CLOSING GITMO: Is one of Obama’s priorities. So where are all those murderous terrorists going to go? Back home? Their countries of origin don’t want them. To the United States? We CERTAINLY don’t want them, not even in a prison cell. Did we release prisoners of war in other wars to rejoin their units and kill more Americans? I’m not saying these killers should be given “prisoner of war” status. I’m saying we have to keep them behind bars SOMEWHERE! Why not Gitmo?” To simply “turn them loose” is stupid, and just proves how stupid Obama really is.
