BLAMING THE VICTIM: The Democrats are blaming the lenders for the economic crisis THEY created, It’s like a cop robbing a man, then arresting him for the robbery. I guess it’s the “big lie” theory where you tell a lie often enough people will come to believe it, and fight you if you try to tell them different.
UNINFORMED OPINION: Every day I hear people spouting uninformed opinion as if it were fact. If I “:chime in” with truth, I get ridiculed. My facts are ignored and I get called names. I’m not surprised. This seems to be the way the world works. When they can’t answer your arguments, it takes about 30 seconds for them to start labeling you. But it gets tiresome.
“OUR TIME WILL COME: “The Democrat Party, will not control the government forever — and when our turn comes, we are going to turn the power of this massive government they’ve created against the left.” (Rush Limbaugh) As before, the Republicans will someday again control the government, as Democrats do now. And they will use the massive government power created by the democrats to destroy them. It can’t come soon enough to suit me.
REWARDING FAILURE: That’s generally what Obama and his henchmen are doing with the “stimulus bill.” It does nothing for SUCCESSFUL businesses, but gives TRILLIONS to UNSUCCESSFUL businesses that are going broke, while ignoring their own complicity in forcing them to GO broke.
THE BIGGEST CON IN HISTORY: I used to think AlGore’s “man-made global warming swindle” was the biggest one in history. But Obama’s “stimulus bill” scam dwarfs his swindle. Gore’s has only scored millions, but Obama’s will score TRILLIONS of dollars while trimming the taxpayer in two ways: spending their money, while making what they HAVE worth less by printing more money.
USING COMMON SENSE: In Boulder, Colorado (where else?) they want to expel a female drill team member for having a plastic replica of a gun she uses in her drills with the “Young Marines” in her car on school grounds. The law is written so vaguely that these phony guns are the basis top expel this “straight A” student. You’d think the school authorities could use some common sense in dealing with this. But the law doesn’t ALLOW common sense. They MUST expel her, under the law (unless they can find a way around it). They HAVE suspended her, and I hope they make the expulsion “time served” on the suspension. Even so, she will have the expulsion on her record.
