“Going Overboard” With Love

“GOING OVERBOARD” WITH LOVE: The liberals can’t tell you why they LOVE Obama so much. They give you “reasons” that don’t mean anything and if you push them, they start calling you names, as usual, when they can’t answer your questions. This is just the opposite of their “Bush hatred,” which was just as much without reason.1
SUPPORTING POLITICIANS: “It’s not okay to give bonuses if you took TARP money, or buy a corporate jet, or remodel your office [even if you NEED it –RT]. However, it is perfectly fine to give money to politicians. In fact, it’s probably required — under the table. Members of Congress don’t say, ‘You can’t use TARP money to make contributions to us.’ That’s perfectly fine! Now, is that stimulus?” (Rush Limbaugh)
DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO: Politicians are constantly telling private business not to use corporate jets, even though in most cases their use of them is economically feasible. Meanwhile, the very politicians telling them this are jetting around the world in their own private jets, at taxpayer expense. When the president goes anywhere, they use TWO private jets; one as a decoy, the other carrying the president. By telling them not to use these jets, they are doing the same thing to the private jet building and selling industry that they did to the yacht industry when they dissed THAT industry. They literally DESTROYED it.
TREASURY SECRETARY HAS NO CLUE: Obama’s new treasury secretary HAS NO CLUE what he is going to do with the $800 BILLION DOLLARS he has been given the EXCLUSIVE authority to dispense. That’s according to HIS OWN WORDS when he recently testified before Congress. Yet he is touted to be the ONLY person capable of doing this job. What a LOAD!
FOXES GUARDNING THE HENHOUSE: It really irritates me when I see such as Barney Frank, who was one of those who CREATED the “financial crisis: “sitting in judgment” on the VICTIMS of the law HE helped pass (The “Citizen’s Reinvestment Act of 1977”). You know, the one that FORCED the people Barney is questioning in Congress right now to loan money they KNEW could not be repaid, thus CAUSING the “financial meltdown,” trying to place the blame on them.
HOW TO “SOLVE” THE FINANCIAL CRISIS: Intelligent people say that “When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.” Obama has found himself in a hole (the financial crisis) and he’s digging even faster than before. Borrowing got us into this. Borrowing and spending isn’t going to get us out.
