“Regulating Pelosi”
March 12, 2009 | | Leave a Comment
“REGULATING PELOSI”: Nancy Pelosi wants to “regulate” Rush Limbaugh. But we need to “regulate” Nancy Pelosi. Is what Nancy says any more important than what Rush says? Does she have more of a right to “regulate” Rush’s words than we have to regulate hers? Personally, I find her every word insulting. But I have never (until now) suggested “shutting her up.” Where does she get the idea she has the “right” to “regulate” free speech?
“BAILED OUT” COMPANIES IN WORSE SHAPE NOW: CitiGroup, GM, and other companies who have been “bailed out” by the government, are in WORSE SHAPE than before they were “bailed out.” Obama promised that this would not happen. Auto companies shuddered at the thought of bankruptcy, but General Motors, at least, is now “raising the specter” of bankruptcy in an effort to get more “bailout” money after selling off one of its biggest money-makers, Allison’s (a transmission supplier to auto makers)
“REACHING OUT” TO THE TALIBAN: I can’t believe Obama actually thinks he can “reach out” to a bunch whose only wish is to either kill as many of us as possible, or force as many as possible to convert to Islam. There is no “middle ground.” Either we capitulate completely or let them kill us. How many dead bodies does Obama intend to offer them as an incentive?
CRIMINAL QUESTIONS THE VICTIM: Only in government does the CRIMINAL get to question the VICTIM in a “successful attempt” to blame the victim” for the results of the CRIMINAL’S actions, as with Rep. Barney Frank and the bankers.
YOUNG AND OLD: “Old people can remember being young, but young people can’t even imagine being old.”: (Ashleigh Brilliant, in “Pot-Shots”) That’s one of the major differences between the young and the old. Young people think they “know it all,” but they don’t. Old people DO, but they may not realize it.
“FOR THE CHILDREN!” That’s always the cry when they want to impose more and bigger taxes on us. they always figure out some way to twist things so as to make it “for the children!” some of the things they want to impose on us have nothing to do with the children. But they push it that way anyway. We need to examine what they say more carefully so we can stop approving our own demise “for the children.”
