They Hate Profits!

THEY HATE PROFITS: But what is it they’re trying to do with all their trillion dollar gifts? They’re trying to “return them to profitability.” Isn’t this contrary to their stated objective? They HATE profits. But in this “bailout” economy, they’re tacitly admitting that profits are NECESSARY. After they accomplish it (if they ever do), they’ll go back to putting unprecedented taxes on those profits, trying to get them for themselves, as usual.
GREEN ZONE ONLY: If Bush had gone to Iraq and gone only to the “green zone,” as Omama did, would the press have “gone bananas” as they did NOT when Omama did it? Seems to me Omama has done many things they would have criticized Bush mightily for doing. Like bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia (Heads of state do NOT do that. They are considered EQUALS.); or not knowing Austria didn’t have its own language and speak German; or going to Europe and the Middle East and “apologizing” for everything under the sun, whether or not we did it, or if it was the right thing to do. I’m getting very tired of this “Omama worship” in our press and NO criticism for HIM for doing things they’d have trashed Bush for. I don’t agree with EVERYTHING Bush did, but I think this “Bush hatred” went WAY too far while the “Omama-love” does the same.
TAKING HER DOWN A FEW NOTCHES: Sarah Palin is going to be a “strong force” in the Republican Party” for a long time. She may even run for (and maybe win) the presidency. The Democrats DEFINITELY don’t want that, and neither do many Republicans. So they’re doing everything they can, and bringing up every “scandal” they can (real or imagined) to “take her down a few notches.”
PIRACY “BIG BUSINESS” IN SOMALIA: In case anybody is wondering why the Somalian pirates get away with so much is that they are “big business” there. They buy homes and cars, groceries, toys for their kids, etc. They literally keep the Somalian economy going with their stolen money. It would be economic disaster if the pirates were defeated and captured or killed.
TYPICAL WIMP LIBERAL QUESTION: “Aren’t you afraid killing those pirates will make other pirates quicker to kill their hostages? The admiral answered, “yes.” But I hope that’s not true. The pirates need to take the message from this NOT TO attack American ships because you will fail. And do whatever it takes to make that come true. That’s like asking if armed citizens killing criminals will make other criminals more deadly? It’s a stupid question and typical of a liberal newsman/woman. The proper answer is to KILL every pirate that attempts to take over ANY ship at sea. Let them know we won’t be “easy targets” any more. I think it’s instructive that the FIRST action against them was taken by an UNARMED crewman who stabbed a pirate in the hand with an ice pick, disabling him.
“SHARING” KNOWLEDGE AND RESOURCES: The sheriff of the county in which the columbine school shootings happened says that they’ve made many improvements in how they handle such incidents, including going in RIGHT NOW, isolating the shooters, and even eliminating them before they can kill more people. They “share” this information with everybody. But they don’t, and WON’T do the ONE THING that can help: allow teachers and other responsible people to be armed, inside the school, at their own decision so any shooters will not know WHO is armed and can shoot them down.
